Understanding of Youth Changers Kenya
Demonstrated professional, executive, or leadership experience and accomplishments in fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, and finance.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in one or more key functional areas: fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, and business development in the development sectors.
Demonstrated creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to actively listen, consider diverse perspectives, ask relevant questions to foster mutual understanding, and synthesize information to build consensus.
Personal qualities should include integrity, credibility, and a demonstrated
passion for enhancing the professionalism and capacity of Youth Changers
Kenya's beneficiaries and partners.
Fluency in English and strong communication skills are required.
Board of Directors experience is a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Growth Planning: Advise on long-term strategies to identify and seize new opportunities, markets, and partnerships.
Market Insight & Analysis: Provide expertise on market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform board decisions.
Partnership Development: Leverage personal and professional networks to facilitate strategic alliances, joint ventures, and collaborations.
Revenue Diversification: Recommend approaches to broaden the organization's income streams beyond current sources and promote sustainability.
Governance and Oversight: Ensure that YCK's strategies align with the organization's mission, values, and compliance requirements.
Performance Monitoring: Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of
YCK's activities, offering guidance for improvement.
