GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES NEEDED
Understanding of Youth Changers Kenya
Demonstrated professional, executive, or leadership experience and accomplishments in fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, and finance.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in one or more key functional areas: fundraising, monitoring and evaluation, and business development in the development sectors.
Demonstrated creative, strategic, analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to actively listen, consider diverse perspectives, ask relevant questions to foster mutual understanding, and synthesize information to build consensus.
Personal qualities should include integrity, credibility, and a demonstrated
passion for enhancing the professionalism and capacity of Youth Changers
Kenya's beneficiaries and partners.
Fluency in English and strong communication skills are required.
Board of Directors experience is a plus.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Oversight: Advise on the development and implementation of M&E frameworks that align with organizational goals.
Performance Measurement: Guide the establishment of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for assessing program effectiveness.
Data Quality Assurance: Ensure that data collection, management, and reporting processes meet high standards of accuracy and reliability.
Results Interpretation: Assist the board in interpreting evaluation data and performance reports to inform strategic decisions.
Compliance and Ethics: Oversee adherence to ethical standards and requirements in all M&E activities.
Capacity Building: Encourage and support efforts to strengthen M&E competencies across the organization.
