Job Summary
As part of our strategic expansion, we are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Director / Associate Partner to lead client acquisition, strengthen market presence, and drive revenue growth.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving client acquisition, revenue generation, and strategic growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate is a credible, well-networked, and charismatic professional with a proven track record of originating business and building long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the firm's revenue growth strategy
Identify and convert new business opportunities across sectors
Advise leadership on market trends and expansion opportunities
Deepen relationships with existing clients
Work closely with partners and legal teams
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Revenue growth and new client acquisition
Number and value of deals originated
Increase in retained/recurring clients
Expansion of referral networks
Growth in key industry sectors
Improved client retention and cross-selling
Strong business development pipeline reporting
Requirements
10 - 15 years experience in business development, consulting, banking, legal or professional services
Experience in a law firm, consulting firm, or financial institution
Understanding of corporate/commercial legal services
MBA, Law degree, or relevant professional qualification (advantage)
Proven track record in revenue generation and client acquisition
Strong commercial mindset and negotiation skills
Established network within corporate and financial sectors
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Strategic thinker with strong execution ability
