Job Description
The Business DevelopmentOfficer will be responsible for driving capital inflows, managing investor relationships, and supporting the promotion of the structured investment products within Casalavoro Limited's Investment Unit.
The role requires a strong balance of relationship management, deal sourcing, investment advisory support, and revenue generation, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, originate, and onboard new investors, including HNIs, institutional clients, and corporate investors.
Drive capital mobilization for the company's investment products, real estate-backed instruments, and structured offerings.
Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the company's investment objectives and growth targets.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective investors and strategic partners
Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned investment clients.
Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on portfolio performance, deal progress, and new opportunities.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction, retention, and repeat investments.
Manage investor onboarding documentation and KYC requirements in collaboration with Compliance and Operations teams.
Support the structuring and distribution of investment products, including real estate investments, private placements, and partnerships.
Assist in preparing investment proposals, pitch decks, term sheets, and client presentations.
Liaise with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Risk, and Operations) to ensure seamless execution of investment transactions.
Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and emerging investment opportunities.
Provide periodic reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and capital raised.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and investment commitments.
Ensure all client engagements and investment activities comply with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements (when applicable)
Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all client and deal-related matters.
Qualifications
BSC /HND in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIBN, CFA) will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience in business development, relationship management, investment advisory, or financial services.
Skills:
Strong understanding of investment products, capital markets, and real estate-backed investments.
Proven ability in business development, sales, and relationship management within financial services or investment firms.
Sound knowledge of investment documentation, client onboarding, and transaction processes.
Ability to analyze investment opportunities and communicate value propositions clearly to clients.
