Business Development Officer

We are looking for a driven Business Development Officer to help expand our market presence, build strategic relationships, and drive revenue growth. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Economics, or related field Experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles (internships included) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Basic understanding of sales processes and customer engagement Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace Ability to work independently and deliver under targets - Interest in technology, IoT, or logistics solutions is an added advantage KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets Generate, qualify, and convert leads into long-term clients Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners Develop partnerships with transport, logistics, and corporate organizations Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities Support execution of marketing and business growth initiatives Prepare proposals, presentations, and client pitches Work closely with management to expand market reach and revenue KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Strong ability to identify opportunities and convert them into revenue Excellent negotiation, persuasion, and closing skills Strong networking and relationship-building abilities Self-driven, proactive, and target-oriented mindset Ability to understand business operations, in transport, logistics, or asset-heavy industries Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills Ability to communicate technical solutions in simple business terms This role goes beyond sales - we want someone who can identify opportunities, build partnerships, and help grow the business strategically.
