About the job


Plans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of materials from Supplier to the Factory.
Raise the Purchase Orders and share with Suppliers according to production plans.
Provides timely materials planning and scheduling of delivery of purchase orders to the Factory to achieve production plans. Accountabilities:
Review open Sales/Supply orders to determine customer requirements.
Coordinate delivery of Raw/Packaging materials to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule.
Responsible for purchasing Call-off and expedite suppliers purchase orders.
Utilize ERP system (SAP) to auto?generate Purchase orders.
Release purchase orders to suppliers for material delivery to the factory.
Coordinate between warehouse and purchasing on material shortages.
Notify Supply Planner/Sales of any schedule impacts to customers.
Follow-up on suppliers' delivery of materials according to plan to avoid materials out of Stock (OOS) ?
Completes Production status Reports, such as production progress, customer information and materials inventory coverage
Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
Performs other duties as required
Ensure Supplier Claims are received in conjunction with the warehouse team on deficient material


Requirements:

Educational Qualification


Bachelor's Degree or HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.


Experience


Minimum of 3-5 years' relevant experience in Production Planning, Material Planning, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Call-Off Planning, or Logistics within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
Proven experience in material requirement planning (MRP), inventory control, and production scheduling.
Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP


Technical Knowledge


Strong understanding of:- Material Requirement Planning (MRP)
Production Planning and Scheduling
Inventory Management and Stock Control
Procurement and Supply Chain Processes
Demand Forecasting
GMP, Food Safety, and Manufacturing Best Practices
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
Ability to generate planning reports and monitor key inventory and production KPIs.
