Aleppo Health Directorate, in cooperation with the National Syrian Project for Prosthetic Limbs (NSPPL), announces a job opportunity as follows:

Position : Case worker .
Location : NSPPL - Al BAB Center , Aleppo - Syria
Duration : 7 Months .
Closing date : 20 Nov' 2025

About NSPPL :

The National Syrian Project for prosthetic limbs (NSPPL ) has been established in Feb 2013 by a group of Syrian doctors overseas to help the people whose parts have been imputed as a result of the Syrian war and provide them with prosthetic parts and the appropriate rehabilitation , and Licensed in Syria in Feb 2025 as The Syrian Foundation for Prosthetics Limbs and Rehabilitation.

NSPPL is a non-profit organization which serves people in Syria and Turkey.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Initial assessment of patients' conditions (medical, psychological, living, social) and determining needs based on that (individual sessions within the center or field visits).
2. Develop an appropriate treatment plan for each case in coordination with other departments and follow up on treatment plans with other departments.
3. Regularly update referral cases and the service map in coordination with partners, ensuring that beneficiaries receive the required services before closing the beneficiary's file.
4. Ensure a separate file is maintained for each patient, including a case description and sessions provided.
5. Responsible for the progress of treatment plans for patients in coordination with other departments.
6. Develop daily and weekly work plans for all departments in coordination with them.
7. Maintain patient confidence and confidentiality.
8. Contribute to collective efforts by achieving relevant outcomes as needed.
9. Participate in identifying success stories and ensuring informed consent is obtained from the relevant beneficiaries.

Qualifications & requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Sociology or equivalent.

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Social Worker , or similar position.

• Provides excellent Arabic writing and speaking skills. English language added value,

• Good experience in Microsoft Office programs (Word and Excel....) and using the Internet.

• Ability to work within a team structure or in isolation, flexible, and can cope with stressful workload and working with limited resources.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  - Priority will be given to former health employees who have defected from their previous positions.

  مكان العمل: مركز الباب – المؤسسة السورية للأطراف الصناعية وإعادة التأهيل
  مدة العقد: 7 أشهر

• المهام والمسؤوليات:
• • إجراء التقييم الأولي لحالة المرضى (الطبية، النفسية، المعيشية، والاجتماعية)، وتحديد احتياجاتهم بناءً على ذلك (من خلال الجلسات الفردية داخل المركز أو الزيارات الميدانية).
  • وضع خطة علاجية مناسبة لكل حالة بالتنسيق مع الأقسام الأخرى، ومتابعة تنفيذ هذه الخطط مع تلك الأقسام.
  • تحديث الحالات المحالة وخريطة الخدمات بشكل منتظم بالتنسيق مع الشركاء، وضمان حصول المستفيدين على الخدمات المطلوبة قبل إغلاق ملفاتهم.
  • التأكد من حفظ ملف منفصل لكل مريض، يتضمن توصيف الحالة والجلسات المقدمة له.
  • متابعة سير الخطط العلاجية للمرضى بالتنسيق مع الأقسام الأخرى.
  • إعداد خطط العمل اليومية والأسبوعية لجميع الأقسام بالتنسيق معهم.
  • الحفاظ على ثقة المرضى وسرية المعلومات الخاصة بهم.
  • المساهمة في الجهود الجماعية من خلال تحقيق النتائج ذات الصلة عند الحاجة.
  • المشاركة في تحديد قصص النجاح وضمان الحصول على الموافقة المستنيرة من المستفيدين المعنيين.
• المؤهلات والمتطلبات:
• • شهادة جامعية في علم الاجتماع أو ما يعادلها.
  • خبرة لا تقل عن سنتين كأخصائي اجتماعي – إدارة حالة – أو عمل مماثل.
  • مهارات ممتازة في اللغة العربية كتابةً وتحدثًا، وتُعد اللغة الإنجليزية ميزة إضافية.
  • خبرة جيدة في استخدام برامج مايكروسوفت أوفيس (Word – Excel) واستخدام الإنترنت.
  • القدرة على العمل ضمن فريق أو بشكل مستقل، والمرونة، والقدرة على التعامل مع ضغوط العمل والموارد المحدودة.
  • مهارات تواصل ممتازة.
• - تُعطى الأولوية لموظفي الصحة السابقين المنشقين عن عملهم.
