We are looking for a vigilant and responsible CCTV Operator / Surveillance Officer to join our team in Jos, Plateau State
. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring CCTV systems, identifying security risks, reporting incidents, and supporting the safety and security of company personnel and assets.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor CCTV cameras and surveillance systems to detect suspicious activities and security breaches.
Observe, record, and report incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
Review CCTV footage to support investigations and incident reporting.
Maintain accurate surveillance logs and prepare daily incident reports.
Ensure all surveillance equipment is functioning properly and report faults for timely maintenance.
Coordinate with the Security team to ensure prompt response to security incidents.
Maintain confidentiality of surveillance information and recordings.
Adhere to company security policies and standard operating procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or HND in any relevant discipline.
2 - 3 years of proven experience in CCTV operations, surveillance, or security monitoring.
Good understanding of CCTV systems and surveillance equipment.
Strong observation, analytical, and report-writing skills.
Ability to remain alert and make sound decisions under pressure.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Candidate:
Experience using digital CCTV monitoring and video management systems.
Security or surveillance-related certification is an added advantage.
High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail.
Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
