Job Summary
IDMANN Institute is seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Chemistry Teacher to deliver high-quality science education and inspire students in the field of chemistry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching both theoretical and practical aspects of chemistry, preparing students for examinations, and fostering scientific curiosity.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Chemistry in line with the approved curriculum.
Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans.
Conduct laboratory practicals and experiments safely.
Assess and evaluate students' academic performance.
Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
Maintain accurate student records and reports.
Ensure proper use and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Promote a safe and disciplined learning environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc / B.Ed) in:
Chemistry
Chemistry Education or a related field.
2 - 3 years teaching experience (preferred).
Strong subject knowledge in Chemistry.
Ability to conduct and supervise laboratory practicals.
Good classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for teaching and student development.
Added Advantage:
TRCN registration
Experience preparing students for WAEC / NECO examinations.
Familiarity with modern teaching methods and lab safety standards.
