IDMANN Institute is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Government Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in civic education, political systems, and governance.
The ideal candidate will help students understand governmental structures, civic responsibilities, and prepare them for internal and external examinations.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Government in line with the approved curriculum.
Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans.
Educate students on political systems, civic responsibilities, and public administration.
Assess and evaluate students' academic performance.
Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
Maintain accurate student records and reports.
Promote critical thinking and informed citizenship.
Maintain a disciplined and engaging classroom environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc / B.Ed) in Political Science, Government, Public Administration or a related field.
2 - 3 years teaching experience (preferred).
Strong subject knowledge in Government and civic education.
Good classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for teaching and student development.
Added Advantage:
TRCN registration.
Experience preparing students for WAEC / NECO examinations.
Familiarity with current political and civic issues.
