JOB SUMMARY

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for overseeing and optimizing all operational activities of the organization, with a strong focus on polymer manufacturing operations. The role ensures efficient production processes, quality excellence, cost optimization, safety compliance, and operational scalability. The COO works closely with the CEO and executive team to translate corporate strategy into effective operational execution across production, maintenance, supply chain, and quality functions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS


Extensive experience in polymer manufacturing operations.
Strong technical knowledge of polymer materials, processing technologies, and industrial equipment.
Proven ability to lead large production teams and multi-site operations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
Strong understanding of HSE, ISO standards, and manufacturing best practices.


QUALIFICATIONS


Bachelor's Degree in Polymer Engineering, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
Master's degree (MBA, MSc. Engineering, Operations Management) is an added advantage.
Minimum of 10 - 15 years relevant experience.
Professional certifications in operations, quality, or safety are an advantage.
Must not be more than 45 years of age at the time of application.
