Key Responsibilities
Execute assigned civil works including excavation, concreting, formwork, reinforcement, blockwork or general construction support.
Read and work to drawings, method statements and supervisor instructions.
Use hand and power tools safely and maintain work areas in good condition.
Check dimensions, levels, materials and workmanship against requirements.
Coordinate with other trades to avoid clashes and maintain work progress.
Report defects, material shortages, unsafe conditions and progress to the supervisor.
Skills & Competencies
Relevant civil construction experience
Ability to interpret basic drawings and measurements
Knowledge of construction tools and safe work practices
Physical ability and teamwork
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant degree, HND, OND, trade qualification or recognized professional certification appropriate to the discipline and level.
Relevant industrial, construction, oil & gas, marine or project experience is preferred.
Role-specific statutory, technical, offshore, safety or professional certifications shall be provided where required by the client, site or applicable standards.
