Purpose of the Job
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within our luxury, high-end restaurant and café environments.
The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas — including dining spaces, restrooms, kitchens, and back-of-house facilities — remain impeccably clean, sanitized, and well organized at all times.
This role is critical in delivering a safe, elegant, and welcoming atmosphere that supports an exceptional dining and specialty coffee experience for our guests.
The Role: Custodian of Cleanliness & Brand Standards:
As a Cleaner, you are essential to upholding the premium presentation and hygiene standards that define our brand. Your attention to detail and consistency will directly impact guest comfort, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning & Hygiene Excellence:
Ensure all dining areas, kitchen spaces, restrooms, and service areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest hygiene standards.
Sweep, mop, and polish floors to maintain a pristine appearance.
Wipe down and sanitize tables, chairs, counters, and furniture regularly.
Properly clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, railings, and menu holders.
Restroom Maintenance:
Maintain restrooms in spotless condition by cleaning sinks, mirrors, toilets, urinals, and floors frequently.
Refill toiletries including soap, hand sanitizers, paper towels, and tissue as needed.
Ensure restrooms remain fresh, dry, and fully stocked throughout operational hours.
Waste Management & Sanitation:
Empty trash bins, replace liners, and dispose of waste in designated areas.
Ensure proper waste segregation in line with hygiene standards.
Monitor cleaning supply levels and notify management when restocking is required
Linen & Uniform Care:
Ensure cleaning cloths, napkins, and towels are washed, dried, and stored properly.
Handle staff uniforms (where applicable) and assist in maintaining their cleanliness and presentation.
Safety & Maintenance Reporting:
Address and promptly report maintenance issues such as leaks, clogs, broken fixtures, or safety hazards to management.
Place caution signs when cleaning wet floors to prevent accidents.
Store cleaning chemicals and equipment safely after use.
Operational Support:
Participate in scheduled deep-cleaning exercises.
Assist with pre-opening and post-closing cleaning routines.
Perform other related duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant, or commercial cleaning preferred
Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards
High attention to detail and commitment to excellence
Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks
Professional attitude and respectful communication.
