Role Overview
The Cleaner will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment in the designated premises. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks, ensuring high hygiene standards, and addressing any specific cleaning needs as required.
Key Responsibilities
General Cleaning
Sweep, mop, and clean the areas assigned.
Dust and clean surfaces, including furniture, windows, and fixtures.
Empty trash bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
Sanitation
Clean and sanitize bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors.
Restock toiletries and cleaning supplies as needed.
Maintenance of Cleaning Equipment
Operate and maintain cleaning equipment
Report any equipment needs, malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
Health and Safety
Adhere to health and safety regulations while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Ensure proper disposal of hazardous materials.
Additional Duties
Assist in setting up and tidying meeting rooms, common areas, and other spaces as needed.
Perform periodic deep cleaning tasks, such as window washing.
Required skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as a cleaner or in a similar role.
Knowledge of cleaning materials, chemicals, and equipment.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
