ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Client Success Manager, you will own a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise technology clients and be directly responsible for growing revenue within that book of business.
This is not a passive account management role — you will be expected to identify upsell opportunities, awaken dormant accounts, introduce clients to new TecEx products, and make strategic pricing decisions that allow your clients to win deals.
You will work directly with the Branch Manager and have exposure to senior leadership, sitting at the intersection of commercial, operational, and client-facing activity
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key responsibilities include:
Revenue Growth & Upselling
Identify and execute upsell opportunities within your client portfolio. Introduce clients to new TecEx products and re-engage accounts that have gone dormant.
Strategic Client Relationships
Build deep, trusted relationships with key decision-makers. Make strategic decisions with and for your clients to ensure they win their own deals.
Commercial Pricing & Deal-Making
Own pricing decisions on client rollouts and large projects. Structure deals commercially to maximise revenue while keeping clients competitive.
Issue Resolution & Oversight
Act as the senior point of escalation for your clients. Work alongside Account Managers and Compliance teams to resolve service issues swiftly and effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Excellent academic results (matric and university transcripts required).
Professional degree preferred — CA, BCom, LLB, or equivalent.
Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in a commercial, client-facing, or professional environment.
Proven track record in sales, account management, or client success.
