THE ROLE
You will:


Manage patients with uncontrolled hypertension and diabetes.
Stabilize patients for safe surgery within defined timelines.
Track patients through the pre-surgical optimization pathway.
Run a structured chronic disease clinic with strong continuity of care.
Support patient adherence, follow-up, and long-term disease control.
Work closely with theatre, OPD, pharmacy, and laboratory teams.


WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE


Patients are stabilized and proceed safely to surgery.
Reduced surgery cancellations related to uncontrolled medical conditions.
Strong patient follow-up and continuity of care.
Patients feel supported, informed, and well cared for.


IMPORTANT
This is not a general outpatient role.
The position requires:


Strong clinical judgment.
High personal discipline and consistency.
Ownership and follow-through.
Comfort working within structured systems and measurable targets.
A patient-centred approach grounded in professionalism, compassion, and excellence.


REQUIREMENTS


Diploma in Clinical Medicine (Registered Clinical Officer).
Valid practicing license in Kenya.
5+ years' experience in a busy medical outpatient setting managing hypertension and diabetes.
Formal training in diabetes and hypertension management is an added advantage.
