Key Responsibilities
Conduct ophthalmic assessments and manage routine eye conditions
Provide clear diagnoses, treatment plans, and patient education
Perform SICS/Phaco procedures within approved scope (where credentialed)
Conduct pre- and post-operative reviews
Contribute to efficient and well-coordinated patient care through timely consultations, documentation, and communication with the clinical team
Identify patients requiring surgical intervention and ensure clear clinical handover to the booking office
Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
Participate in clinical audits, CMEs, and quality improvement activities
Support outreach and cross-site service delivery where required
Qualifications
Essential
Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery
Higher Diploma in Ophthalmology (COC-accredited)
Valid practicing license
Desirable
SICS / Phaco certification
BLS / ACLS certification
Outreach experience
