Key Responsibilities
Data Analytics & Business Insights
Collect, clean, validate, and analyze data from internal and external sources
Translate complex datasets into actionable insights to support business decisions
Identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities across territories and product portfolios
Generate account-level insights to improve sales planning and profitability
Sales Performance & Reporting
Track and analyze sales performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or Tableau
Monitor KPIs and provide variance analysis
Support root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions
Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE)
Drive adoption and optimization of CRM and sales force automation tools
Support implementation of standardized sales processes and sales cadence
Improve sales productivity through performance tracking and insights
Ensure alignment across sales, marketing, and product teams
Planning & Commercial Support
Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking at territory and regional levels
Provide data-driven recommendations for strategic and operational planning
Work closely with business leaders to guide decision-making
Training & Capability Development
Identify skill gaps and support development of sales training programs
Facilitate product and sales skills training
Support onboarding and continuous learning of commercial teams
Ensure field team competence through assessments and training tools
Process Improvement & Governance
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with data protection standards
Maintain documentation of data sources, definitions, and processes
Continuously improve reporting systems, tools, and workflows
Monitor market dynamics and provide insights on competition and opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field
Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) is an added advantage
3 - 5 years' experience in data analytics, commercial excellence, sales operations, or business intelligence
Experience in Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or Consumer Goods sectors is preferred
Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
