Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement, policies, and operational plans aligned with the Company's strategic objectives.
Lead and oversee revenue generation, customer billing, debt collection, and customer relationship management.
Oversee customer registration, account management, and the maintenance of an accurate and up-to-date customer database.
Oversee and ensure timely, accurate, and complete meter reading, billing, and revenue collection.
Coordinate with the Technical Department to resolve meter faults, billing anomalies, and other service-related issues.
Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue collection, reduce Non-Revenue Water (NRW), through commercial losses
Promote high standards of customer service and ensure the timely resolution of customer complaints.
Conduct customer satisfaction surveys and implement service improvement initiatives based on customer feedback.
Develop and manage departmental budgets, annual work plans, and performance targets.
Prepare and submit periodic commercial performance reports to the Managing Director
Ensure compliance with Company policies, regulatory requirements, and the Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB) standards, regarding Licence and Tariff implementation
Monitor departmental performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Managing Director.

Qualifications
Be a Kenyan Citizen
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or any other Business-related field from a recognized institution
Master's Degree in Finance, Economics, Strategic Management, or any other business-related field will be an added advantage.
Member of relevant professional body with good standing.
8 years' relevant experience with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory position, Preferable in water sector added advantage.
Be able to demonstrate Data analytical skills

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Must fulfill requirements of chapter six of the Kenyan Constitution
Shown outstanding capability in Business strategy.

Proficiency in MS office suite, and contemporary accounting systems and practices.
Experience working the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is preferred.
