Responsibilties
Contract management & administration:
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for goods and services in line with company standards and project requirements
Ensure all contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and company policies
Maintain a contract repository and monitor contract performance, renewals, and expirations
Support dispute resolution and claims management processes.
Procurement strategy & execution:
Develop and implement procurement plans aligned with project timelines and budgets
Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers and contractors with a focus on quality, cost, and reliability
Conduct market intelligence and benchmarking to ensure competitive pricing and terms
Manage procurement documentation including RFQs, RFPs, bid evaluations, and purchase orders
Apply knowledge of INCOTERMS to international procurement and logistics decisions, ensuring clarity in delivery terms and risk allocation.
Cost control & value optimization:
Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations
Monitor procurement spend and report variances against budget
Collaborate with Finance to ensure timely payment and reconciliation of procurement transactions.
Compliance & risk management:
Ensure procurement activities adhere to internal controls and audit requirements
Conduct supplier risk assessments and maintain compliance with HSE and ESG standards
Support internal and external audits related to procurement .
Qualification / Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
A Master's degree or certification in procurement (e.g., CIPS) is an added advantage.
5 - 8 years post-graduation experience, with at least 3 years in contract and procurement roles within the upstream oil and gas industry.
