Control Systems Engineer âÃÂàRobotics Division at Uniccon Group
Uniccon Group
Our Robotics Division is looking for a Control Systems Engineer to design the algorithms that define how our robots interact with the physical world.
The Role:
In this position, you will be the architect of motion. You'll design, model, and implement advanced control strategies that enhance the stability and performance of our robotic platforms. From manipulators to drones, you will ensure our systems are fast, accurate, and robust.
Key Responsibilities:
Algorithm Design: Develop and implement PID, LQR, MPC, and adaptive control algorithms for high-performance mechatronic systems.
Modeling & Simulation: Use MATLAB/Simulink or Python to perform system identification, stability verification, and performance analysis.
Motion Control: Create sophisticated motion profiles for mobile robots, manipulators, and flight platforms.
System Integration: Deploy control solutions into real-time frameworks like ROS (Robot Operating System) and embedded platforms.
Experimental Tuning: Conduct hands-on testing and data analysis to optimize control loops and parameter tuning.
Innovation: Research and apply modern techniques, including Reinforcement Learning and AI-based control, to push the boundaries of autonomy.
What You Bring:
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in control design and implementation for robotics or automation.
Technical Toolkit:
Theory: Mastery of control theory, system dynamics, and state-space modeling.
Software: Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, and C/C++.
Frameworks: Working knowledge of ROS and real-time control environments.
Hardware: Experience integrating sensors and actuators (IMUs, encoders, LiDAR, and motors).
Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical problem-solving skills and a passion for continuous learning in the field of automation.
