Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Cook to prepare high-quality meals while maintaining hygiene and safety standards.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for meal preparation, kitchen organization, and ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications and recipes
Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet company standards
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen and cooking utensils
Monitor food stock levels and report shortages
Ensure proper storage and handling of ingredients
Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Assist in menu planning and food preparation processes
Minimize food wastage and manage portion control.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE or relevant culinary training
2 - 4 years' experience as a cook in a restaurant, canteen, or catering setting
Knowledge of local and continental dishes is an added advantage
Ability to work independently and in a team
Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
