Coordinator Environmental at Glencore

In this role you will be responsible for:


Developing and maintaining a good working knowledge of Environmental legislation
Monitoring and coordinating site's compliance to all Environmental legislation and authorizations
Remaining abreast of developments in Environmental thinking and practice
Coordinating the implementation and ongoing development of Environmental Management Plans.
Monitor and evaluate Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA)
Liaison with relevant government departments, water users, service providers and other external stakeholders
Ensure and enforce adherence to all Environmental standards of the Glencore Alloys division
Reporting of site data on internal and governmental Environmental Information Systems (GSD, ISOMETRIX, SAAELIP: NAEIS, SAWIS, etc)
