Job Summary

The Country Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue growth, expand distribution channels, strengthen customer relationships, and increase brand visibility. The successful candidate will lead the sales team while identifying new business opportunities in both the household and institutional markets.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Management


Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Lead, coach, supervise, and motivate the sales team.
Set monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Monitor sales performance and implement improvement strategies.
Develop sales forecasts and pipeline reports.


Business Development


Identify and develop new business opportunities across Nigeria.
Build strategic relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers, NGOs, government agencies, and institutional buyers.
Expand Nenu Stoves' dealer and distribution network.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
Negotiate contracts and close high-value sales opportunities.


Marketing


Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns.
Coordinate product launches, exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional activities.
Collaborate with the Content Creator/Social Media Officer to strengthen Nenu Stoves' online presence.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Recommend product positioning and pricing strategies.


Customer Relationship Management


Maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Ensure excellent customer satisfaction and after-sales support.
Gather customer feedback to improve products and services.


Reporting


Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
Analyze market trends and customer behaviour.
Track marketing campaign performance and return on investment.
Present performance reports to management.


Requirements


Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, Economics, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales and marketing, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Experience managing distributors and dealer networks.
Strong business development and negotiation skills.
Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).


Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in one or more of the following industries will have an added advantage:


Clean cooking solutions

Consumer durable products

Building materials


Experience working with NGOs, donor-funded projects, government procurement, or institutional sales is also an advantage.
