Credit Manager

About the Role The credit manager is responsible for assessing new financing applicants using information obtained from the Territory development officers, field verifications and credit assessments completed by the credit officers following a strict and prescribed credit assessment process. Qualifications & Requirements BSc. In Accounting, finance, economics, business administration, banking and finance, or another relevant discipline. Professional qualifications such as ICAN, ACCA, CIBN, CFA, or a recognized credit/risk management certification are an added advantage. Minimum of 5-7 years' relevant experience in credit management, credit analysis, lending, risk management, banking, fintech, BNPL, or asset financing, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity. Strong knowledge of credit underwriting, credit scoring, financial analysis, KYC, and loan documentation. Portfolio monitoring and credit risk management.
