Job Summary

The Credit & Marketing Manager is responsible for driving the growth of the Company's loan portfolio through effective marketing, client acquisition, credit structuring, and relationship management. The role involves sourcing quality borrowers, conducting credit assessments, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies, and monitoring loan performance to minimize default risk. The Credit & Marketing Manager is expected to meet assigned revenue and portfolio targets while maintaining high professional and ethical standards.

Key Responsibilities


Source and onboard new credit clients in line with the Company's risk appetite and lending policies.
Market the Company's loan products to individuals, SMEs, and corporate clients.
Conduct preliminary credit analysis including review of financial statements, cash flow, and repayment capacity.
Prepare and submit comprehensive credit proposals for management approval.
Ensure proper documentation and completion of KYC requirements before loan disbursement.
Monitor clients' loan performance and ensure timely repayment of interest and principal.
Follow up on overdue accounts and initiate recovery actions where necessary.
Maintain strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Collaborate with the Credit and Risk teams to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Achieve monthly and annual portfolio growth and revenue targets.
Provide periodic market intelligence and competitor analysis to management.


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in credit & marketing, lending, or financial services.
Strong knowledge of credit analysis and risk assessment principles.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding loan portfolio targets.
Good understanding of regulatory requirements within the financial services industry.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
