The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analysing, interpreting, and presenting data to support business decisions and improve operational efficiency. The role involves transforming raw data into meaningful insights, preparing reports, identifying trends, and supporting strategic planning through data-driven recommendations.
Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various sources.
Interpret data trends and provide actionable insights to management.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and dashboards.
Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and reporting systems.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics.
Identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
Collaborate with departments to understand reporting and analytical needs.
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
Use statistical techniques and analytical tools to solve business problems.
Present findings and recommendations through reports, charts, and presentations.
Support decision-making by providing accurate and timely data analysis.
Assist in automating reporting processes and improving data management systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools is an added advantage.
Basic understanding of statistics and data modeling.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
