Job Summary


We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry/Store Officer to support accurate data entry, inventory documentation, stock control, and day-to-day store operations.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory and transaction records, updating the ERP system, monitoring stock movements, and ensuring that all store-related documentation is properly captured and maintained.


Key Responsibilities
Data Entry & Record Management:


Accurately enter and update inventory, stock movement, receipts, issues, transfers, and other store-related transactions into the ERP system.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic and physical records of inventory transactions.
Verify data and documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
Identify and report discrepancies or errors in inventory records.
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly store and inventory reports.
File and retrieve store documents, including Goods Received Notes (GRNs), Material Requisition Forms, Store Issue Vouchers, delivery notes, and other relevant documents.


Inventory & Stock Control:


Maintain accurate records of stock levels, material usage, and product movements.
Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile physical stock with ERP records.
Monitor stock levels and promptly report shortages, excesses, damages, and discrepancies.
Ensure all received and issued materials are properly documented and recorded.
Support inventory audits and stock reconciliation exercises.


Store Operations:


Assist in the receipt, identification, storage, and issuance of raw materials, consumables, tools, and finished products.
Ensure materials are properly arranged, labeled, and stored for easy identification and retrieval.
Ensure appropriate inventory rotation methods, including FIFO and LIFO where applicable.
Assist in loading and offloading activities while ensuring proper documentation.


ERP & Reporting:


Ensure timely and accurate posting of store transactions into the ERP system.
Generate stock movement, inventory status, material usage, and other required reports.
Cross-check physical stock records against system-generated reports.
Support the preparation of management reports relating to inventory and store activities.


Compliance & Safety:


Ensure proper documentation and authorization of all store transactions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and secure store environment.
Comply with company policies, inventory procedures, and HSE requirements.
Ensure proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage or loss.


Coordination & Communication:


Work closely with Production, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, and other relevant departments.
Communicate stock discrepancies, shortages, and other inventory issues promptly.
Assist in ensuring timely availability of materials required for production and other operations.


Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor's Degree or HND in Management, Social Sciences, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
3 - 5 years of relevant experience in data entry, inventory management, store operations, warehouse administration, or a related role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Proven experience using ERP software for data entry and inventory management.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo, Oracle ERP, or similar systems is an advantage.
Professional certification in Data Management, Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations, or related fields is an added advantage.
Applicants must be between 25 and 35 years of age.


Technical Skills:


Excellent data entry and record-keeping skills.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work with ERP and inventory management systems.
Good knowledge of inventory control and stock reconciliation.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
High typing accuracy and attention to detail.


Location Requirement:



Applicants must reside in Arepo, Ogun State, or within a reasonable commuting distance from Arepo.
