Job Summary


We are seeking to employ a Deputy General Manager (DGM) - Sales. This role provides ample opportunities for professional growth, leadership, and collaboration with a diverse team, while driving revenue generation and market expansion.


Roles and Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning:


Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet business goals and market needs.
Lead market analysis and segmentation to identify growth opportunities and target customers.
Monitor competitors, market conditions, and product development to adjust sales strategies accordingly.


Team Leadership & Performance Management:


Manage and mentor the sales team, setting performance objectives and conducting regular performance reviews.
Motivate the team to meet and exceed sales targets through coaching, support, and development opportunities.


Customer Relationship Management:


Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to increase customer retention and satisfaction.
Manage customer complaints and feedback, ensuring timely resolution and enhancing customer experience.


Sales Reporting & Forecasting:


Track and analyze sales metrics to provide accurate sales forecasts and performance reports.
Ensure timely reporting of sales activities, market trends, and customer feedback to senior management.


Revenue Growth & Profitability:


Drive revenue growth through customer acquisition, new market penetration, and product diversification.
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue potential.


Collaboration with Marketing & Operations:


Work closely with marketing to develop promotional strategies and campaigns to drive sales.
Coordinate with operations and production teams to ensure product availability and timely delivery.


Compliance & Budget Management:


Ensure sales activities adhere to company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
Manage the sales department's budget, optimizing resources to achieve sales targets.


Other Responsibilities;


Make annual and quarterly sales forecasts for the year. By estimating the sales total and operating profits and expenses, the service and sales department sales managers are able to consider their competitors, trends in the industry as well as economic indicators.
To maintain the highest standards of ethics as they are accountable for their team's compliance with the law and the company's principles in all of their actions.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base


Job Specification
Qualification and Experience:


An MBA or professional certifications in Sales or Marketing (CIM, etc.) would be an added advantage.
Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in sales or a related field, preferably in the FMCG sector.


Skills:


Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proven track record in sales planning, execution, and meeting targets.
Good customer relationship
Have in-depth knowledge of the dairy sector and relevant practical experience.
