Job Summary:
The Early Years Teacher is responsible for shaping the earliest learning experiences for children.
This role demands a blend of warmth, creativity, and expertise in early childhood education, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where young learners can explore, grow, and thrive.
The teacher serves as both an educator and a guide, helping children develop foundational cognitive, social, emotional, and physical skills.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field (or equivalent credential).
Teacher Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) License
Previous experience teaching preschool-aged children (preferably 3-4 year olds) in a group setting.
Knowledge of child development, age-appropriate instructional strategies, and assessment techniques.
CPR and First Aid certification (is required).
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a teaching team.
Flexibility, patience, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
Adaptability to different learning styles and needs.
Daily interaction with children, families, teaching staff, and school administration.
