IDMANN Institute is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Economics Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in economics and help students understand economic principles and real-world applications.
The ideal candidate will prepare students for academic excellence and examinations while fostering analytical thinking.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Economics in line with the approved curriculum.
Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans.
Explain economic concepts, theories, and real-life applications.
Assess and evaluate students' academic performance.
Prepare students for internal and external examinations.
Maintain accurate student records and reports.
Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Maintain a disciplined and engaging classroom environment.
Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree (B.Sc / B.Ed) in:
Economics
Economics Education or a related field.
2 - 3 years teaching experience (preferred).
Strong subject knowledge in Economics.
Good classroom management and communication skills.
Passion for teaching and student development.
Added Advantage:
TRCN registration.
Experience preparing students for WAEC/NECO examinations.
Ability to relate economic concepts to real-world situations.
