Job Summary
The Tropicana Tourism Institution (TTI) at La Campagne Tropicana Beach Resort is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to manage, maintain, and enhance the resort's electrical systems while ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency.
This role is key to supporting TTI's operational excellence and creating a safe, functional environment for guests, staff, and trainees.
Key Responsibilities
Design, install, and maintain electrical systems for resort facilities, training centers, and eco-tourism infrastructure.
Oversee power distribution, backup generators, lighting systems, and energy-efficient installations.
Ensure compliance with national electrical codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers during new construction or renovation projects.
Conduct regular inspections, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
Manage and supervise electrical contractors and on-site technical staff.
Support energy management initiatives, including renewable energy integration and sustainable power solutions.
Provide technical guidance for TTI training programs related to electrical engineering, energy management, and facility operations.
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably with exposure to resorts, hospitality, or large-scale facilities.
Strong knowledge of electrical design, power systems, lighting, and energy-efficient solutions.
Proven experience in project management, maintenance planning, and team supervision.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
