Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer will support plant operations through effective maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems. The role ensures safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production activities.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and control systems.
Troubleshoot electrical faults on industrial machines and production lines.
Maintain and support PLC-based systems, control panels, and field instrumentation.
Interpret and work with P&IDs, electrical drawings, and control schematics.
Support installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical systems.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and plant procedures.
Monitor equipment performance and contribute to downtime reduction initiatives.
Support execution of electrical and automation-related projects.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and technical documentation.
Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to ensure smooth operations.
Minimum Requirements (Must-Have)
B.Sc or HND in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Control Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years hands-on industrial experience in manufacturing or FMCG plants.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and instrumentation.
Experience with PLC systems, control panels, and field devices.
Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical faults independently.
Added Advantage:
Experience with textile manufacturing equipment.
Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP).
Exposure to FMCG or continuous-process manufacturing environments.
