We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrical Maintenance Technician I to support field electrical maintenance activities, electrical isolation (LOTO), and preventive/breakdown maintenance for lighting, air-conditioning, and motor systems.
Key Responsibilities
Verify and issue electrical work permits to contractors for lighting, air-conditioning, and motor maintenance activities.
Supervise contractors and ensure strict compliance with safety requirements, immediately intervening where unsafe acts are observed.
Participate in Job Safety Analysis (JSA) reviews with contractors.
Execute scheduled maintenance activities and promptly escalate unresolved issues to the First Line Supervisor (FLS).
Monitor contractors' work quality to ensure compliance with Maintenance Procedures & Practices (MPP) and minimize rework.
Provide daily progress updates to the FLS and maintenance planner.
Obtain FLS approval before implementing any changes to approved work plans.
Verify and accept completed maintenance work.
Requirements
Previous experience in electrical maintenance or a closely related role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
Relevant technical/discipline certification or equivalent professional experience.
Good understanding of electrical isolation and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
Strong communication and field reporting skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with contractors and other stakeholders.
Ability to work under tight deadlines, manage heavy workloads, and adapt to changing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
