Purpose
To provide electrical maintenance support for pasta production equipment, ensuring optimum machine performance, minimal downtime, and compliance with engineering, safety, and food safety standards.
The Job
Executing preventive maintenance on pasta processing machines and related infrastructure.
Carrying out corrective and predictive maintenance on motors, control panels, VFDs, sensors, and industrial electrical systems.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical faults to minimize production downtime.
Conducting routine inspections to identify electrical defects and equipment abnormalities.
Supporting the installation, commissioning, calibration, and testing of new electrical equipment.
Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, faults, and spare parts usage.
Ensuring compliance with electrical safety procedures, Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO), GMP, and food safety standards.
Performing root cause (Why-Why) analysis on recurring equipment failures.
Collaborating with Mechanical, Production, QA, and HSE teams to improve equipment reliability.
Supporting engineering improvement initiatives and contributing to the achievement of departmental KPIs.
Qualifications
5 O' level credits including Mathematics &English in not more than 2 sittings.
Technical certification would be an added advantage.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in electrical maintenance within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
The Person Must:
Possess strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Have working knowledge of motors, drives, PLCs, relays, sensors, and industrial wiring.
Be able to interpret electrical drawings and use electrical measuring instruments.
Exhibit excellent teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
