Purpose
The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment across the factory and residential estates.
The role is critical to ensuring equipment reliability, operational efficiency, workplace safety, and minimal downtime through effective preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
The Job
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, control systems, motors, and equipment.
Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities on electrical systems to ensure optimum equipment performance.
Diagnose electrical faults and implement timely solutions to minimize operational disruptions.
Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical equipment and systems.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency power-related issues.
Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, company policies, quality requirements, and food safety standards.
Identify potential electrical hazards and proactively recommend improvements to enhance safety and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) O'Level credits, including Mathematics and English Language.
NABTEB or City & Guilds (C&G) Technical Certificate in Electrical Installation, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years' relevant experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs within an industrial environment.
Experience working with automated production lines and manufacturing equipment will be an added advantage.

Possess strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of industrial electrical systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.

Be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Possess good communication and teamwork skills.
