We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Engineering Coordinator to support the smooth and efficient operations of our Engineering Department. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who excels in administration, communication, and operational coordination, ensuring all engineering standards, safety protocols, and brand requirements are consistently upheld.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Administrative Coordination:
Oversee daily, monthly, and quarterly departmental reporting, ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and proper record- keeping.
Maintain secure and confidential records, including utilities data, audits, compliance reports, and staff files.
Coordinate departmental meetings, OSH meetings, Green Engage Committee obligations, and related compliance documentation in line with IHG standards.
Support Chief/Assistant Chief Engineer in monitoring grooming standards, departmental SOP adherence, and operational discipline.
Maintenance & Workflow Support:
Track maintenance issues in guest and back-of-house areas, ensuring swift follow-up, closure, and feedback documentation.
Maintain and update departmental logs, checklists, and statutory compliance records.
Coordinate departmental training - scheduled and impromptu, and track team participation.
Procurement & Inventory:
Liaise with the procurement team to follow up on engineering materials, tools, and fuel deliveries.
Assist with stock control, ensuring sufficient supplies and accurate consumption records.
Workforce Scheduling:
Manage staff schedules via EnQuest and align them with monthly duty rosters, ensuring updates and adjustments are logged.
Financial Support:
Contribute to the preparation of departmental OPEX and CAPEX budgets.
Support strict control of inventory, tools, and operational materials.
