The ideal candidate would be responsible for
Managing his team - both Mechanical and Electrical;
Maintaining discipline and time-keeping;
Control of resources: Labour & spares;
Compliance with all management and safety programmes within the company;
20 Keys, Planned maintenance, OHSAct, Meat safety;
Managing Engineering downtime;
Assist with budgets and capital projects.
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:
Matric or N3;
Be in possession of a Trade Test Certificate as a Fitter or Electrician or Millwright;
5 years Poultry abattoir maintenance experience including 1 year at supervisor/team leader level;
Own reliable transport;
Experience in the Food Processing Industry would be an added advantage;
Must be able to work overtime, shifts, weekends and public holidays.
