Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging English Language lessons to primary school pupils.
Develop pupils' reading, writing, speaking, listening, and comprehension skills.
Foster a love for literacy through creative and interactive teaching approaches.
Plan lessons in line with the British and Nigerian curricula.
Assess pupil progress and provide timely feedback to pupils and parents.
Effectively integrate technology and digital learning tools into classroom instruction.
Create a stimulating, inclusive, and learner-centred environment.
Participate actively in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programmes.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in English, English Education, Primary Education, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a reputable primary school.
Sound knowledge of the British and Nigerian primary curricula.
Strong phonics, literacy, and language development skills.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
Must be highly tech savvy and proficient in the use of educational technology, digital learning platforms, interactive boards, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and AI-enhanced teaching tools.
TRCN certification or relevant teaching qualification is an added advantage.
