Job Description


A vacancy currently exists for the position of Exports Administrator. The Exports Administrator will be responsible for the processing of all export sales orders from start to finish, and to provide a support function for the sales team.


Key duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):


Oversee and process all exports customer transactions accurately and timeously from entry to finalisation, ensuring compliance with the relevant regulations.
Oversee all related export documentation, invoices and inspections.
Manage all exports customer feedback requirements regarding order status, back order reporting and general inquiries in adherence to all policies and procedures.
Provide a supporting role to the sales team.
Develop positive relationships with exports customers and provide professional customer service and support to these customers.
Foster relationships with internal colleagues and relevant business departments, to ensure correct dispatch of export orders.
Use initiative and be proactive in resolving exports customer queries promptly.
Promote total customer satisfaction internally and externally through providing professional services and prompt query resolution.
Other duties as assigned.


Education, Experience and Key Competencies


Grade 12
Exports qualification / logistics or similar (highly beneficial)
At least 3 years' experience in a similar role
Understanding the exports cycle, cross trade and documentation
Understanding of exports sales environment and export documentation
Knowledge of the South African and foreign customs acts
Computer knowledge: SAP and Microsoft Office
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, telephonic as well as mail.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
