Job Summary
A Farm Manager to oversee and coordinate its integrated farm operations.
The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of 10 years' hands-on experience in large-scale farming with proven expertise in cow, goat, and ram rearing as well as practical knowledge of palm oil plantation management.
The role is highly strategic and requires a strong leader capable of managing people, resources, and stakeholders while driving operational efficiency and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership and direction for livestock and plantation operations.
Oversee the management of cows, goats, and rams, including feeding, breeding, health, and productivity.
Coordinate palm plantation activities to ensure optimal productivity and sustainable operations.
Manage farm personnel, operational resources, budgets, and performance standards.
Liaise with the CEO, regulatory bodies, consultants, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
Drive operational efficiency, profitability, compliance, and continuous improvement across all farm locations.
Prepare operational and performance reports for executive management.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in agriculture, Animal Science, Agronomy, Veterinary Science, Farm Management, or related discipline.
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in large-scale livestock and agricultural operations.
Strong strategic planning, leadership, stakeholder management, and business management skills.
Proven ability to manage multi-site farm operations effectively.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Candidate must reside in Lagos and be willing to travel occasionally to farm locations.
