Job Summary


The Palm Oil Plantation Manager will oversee the end-to-end operations of a large-scale palm oil plantation and processing business with operational sites across states.
The role requires a highly experienced agricultural operations professional with strong expertise in palm plantation management, palm fruit sourcing, production coordination, staff supervision, and administration.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring operational efficiency across plantation sites, processing locations, and supply chains while maintaining high-quality production standards and effective workforce management.
The role will be primarily based in Ibadan with periodic travel to operational locations including Ondo State and other sourcing areas.


Key Responsibilities
Palm Plantation Management:


Oversee daily operations of the palm oil plantation and ensure maximum productivity.
Supervise cultivation, harvesting, maintenance, and general plantation activities.
Ensure effective utilization and maintenance of farm equipment and machinery.
Implement best agricultural practices for sustainable plantation
Coordinate sourcing and procurement of palm fruits across various states.
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, local farmers, and transporters.
Ensure steady supply of quality palm fruits to processing sites.
Monitor logistics and transportation of produce between farms and processing locations.
Supervise palm oil processing activities in Ondo State and other processing sites.
Ensure efficient management of the production process from raw material intake to finished products.
Maintain product quality standards and operational efficiency.
Monitor production output, wastage control, and operational costs.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.


Required Qualifications & Experience


Bachelor's Degree or HND in Agriculture, Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, Farm Management, or related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in palm oil plantation and processing operations.
Proven experience managing large agricultural estates or plantations.
