Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily farm operations.
Manage crop production and/or livestock activities.
Develop and implement farm production schedules.
Supervise and train farm workers and ensure effective task execution.
Monitor crop health, soil conditions, and livestock welfare.
Oversee the use and maintenance of farm equipment and facilities.
Manage farm inputs such as seeds, fertilizers, feed, and pesticides.
Track farm expenses, production output, and inventory.
Ensure compliance with agricultural and environmental regulations.
Implement modern farming techniques to improve productivity.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or HND in Agriculture, Agronomy, Animal Science, or related field.
Minimum of 3—5 years experience managing farm operations.
Strong knowledge of crop production and/or livestock management.
Ability to manage farm workers and coordinate farm activities.
Good problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of farm equipment and agricultural best practices.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to work independently and in rural environments.
