Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Field Officer to support field operations within an FMCG recycling environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing field activities, coordinating collection points, engaging distributors and vendors, and ensuring efficient recycling operations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise field recycling and collection activities.
Engage FMCG distributors, retailers, and waste collection partners.
Monitor product recovery, recycling volumes, and field performance.
Ensure compliance with company standards, safety, and environmental regulations.
Collect, verify, and submit accurate field data and reports.
Identify new collection points and expansion opportunities.
Resolve field challenges and escalate issues when necessary.
Support logistics, routing, and scheduling of field operations.
Train and supervise field agents or collectors where required.
Represent the company professionally during field engagements.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree / HND in Environmental Science, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years relevant field experience in FMCG, recycling, waste management, or supply chain operations.
Strong understanding of FMCG distribution networks and field operations.
Good knowledge of recycling processes and environmental sustainability (added advantage).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Ability to work independently and meet field targets.
Willingness to travel frequently and work in the field.
Familiarity with local markets and routes.
