Field Technician – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)

Job Summary We are looking for a competent Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Field Technician to execute installation, calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and electrical systems within industrial and oil & gas facilities. Key Responsibilities Install, calibrate, test, and maintain instrumentation and electrical equipment. Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system failures. Perform loop checks, commissioning, and functional testing. Maintain transmitters, switches, analyzers, control valves, and PLC-related equipment. Interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Support shutdown, turnaround, and commissioning projects. Ensure compliance with company and client HSE procedures. Maintain maintenance and calibration records. Qualifications and Experience OND, HND, HSE 1, 2, 3, Technical Diploma, or Trade Certification in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline. 3 - 5 years relevant experience in oil & gas or industrial environments. Knowledge of field instrumentation, control systems, PLCs, and industrial automation. Understanding of calibration procedures and instrument testing. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and P&IDs. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
