We are seeking a hands-on Finance Manager to lead and build the finance and accounting function of a growing Microfinance Bank. The role combines accounting, financial planning, compliance, and team building. The ideal candidate will help set up strong financial systems, ensure regulatory compliance, and build a scalable finance team from scratch.

Key Responsibilities


Prepare monthly and annual financial statements and management reports
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for microfinance operations
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
Oversee cashflow, liquidity, and reconciliations
Build and manage a small finance and accounting team
Develop internal controls and financial processes
Support audits and regulatory reporting


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Professional qualification (ICAN / ACCA)
Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria or Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
5+ years relevant experience (banking, microfinance, fintech preferred)
Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
Experience in budgeting, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance
Proven ability to supervise or build a small team
