Job Description


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the company's financial operations, reporting, budgeting, financial controls, and compliance. The successful candidate will provide accurate financial information to management and support strategic business decisions.


Key Responsibilities


Oversee the company's day-to-day financial operations and accounting activities.
Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning.
Monitor income, expenses, receivables, payables, and cash positions.
Ensure proper financial controls and compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
Review financial transactions, reconciliations, invoices, and payment schedules.
Coordinate payroll-related financial processes with HR.
Monitor and manage the company's tax and statutory obligations.
Prepare financial analysis and management reports to support decision-making.
Liaise with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders.
Identify financial risks and recommend appropriate corrective measures.
Supervise and provide guidance to accounting/finance staff.
Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and supporting documentation.


Educational Qualification


Bachelor's Degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
ICAN, ACCA, or other relevant professional certification is highly preferred.


Experience:


Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance/accounting, with at least 6years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
Previous experience in a logistics, transportation, or related company is highly preferred.
Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, cash-flow management, taxation, and financial controls.
Experience managing or supervising a finance/accounting team will be an advantage.


Other Requirements:


Strong knowledge of Nigerian tax and financial regulations.
Must be able to work independently and meet strict reporting deadlines.
Strong ethical standards and financial integrity.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
Must be resident in Lagos State or be willing to work in Lagos.

Strong financial analysis and reporting skills.

Strong budgeting and cash-flow management skills.
