Job Summary
The Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations of the company, ensuring sound financial management, accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective cash flow management.
The role involves managing finances for both local and international procurement activities, B2B and B2C sales operations, inventory-related transactions, vendor payments, and overall financial planning to support business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily financial and accounting operations of the company.
Prepare financial reports, budgets, and cash flow projections.
Manage accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Monitor financial activities relating to local and international procurement.
Ensure accurate product costing, pricing, and profitability analysis.
Supervise invoicing, collections, and credit control for B2B and B2C clients.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory remittances.
Maintain effective internal controls and financial procedures.
Coordinate with external auditors, banks, and regulatory agencies.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
Professional certification such as ICAN, ACCA, or ACA is an added advantage.
Minimum of 8 years' experience in finance or accounting roles.
Experience in trading, procurement, supply chain, importation, or distribution businesses is highly preferred.
Experience handling both local and international financial transactions.
Knowledge of B2B and B2C business operations is an advantage.
