Finance Manager- Reporting and Revenue Control at Ntel Nigeria

Job Summary


Overseeing financial reporting, revenue recognition, and internal controls. The role ensures compliance with accounting standards, drive revenue accuracy and financial performance, supports audit and ERP migration processes.


Key Responsibilities


Coordinate the external reporting process with NATCOM. in the immediate, work with Team to close the outstanding years with the external auditors
Prepare management accounts and establish all processes towards migration to a new ERP
Ensure all control accounts are reconciled and are in check. During the current review, document and recommend all significant journals to establish control
Have oversight over revenue recognition in accordance with revenue standard, IFRS 15, and related accounting standards
Margin and Contribution Analysis
Act as business partner to the Sales Team and efforts affecting revenue initiative, development and control implementation
Establish the framework to enable NATCOM comply with FRC's guidance on Internal Control Over Financial Reporting
Other functions assigned by the Financial Controller


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Professional Certification in Accounting (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CPA, CFA or similar) is required
Minimum of 5 - 7 years of progressive finance or accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Experience with financial operations, treasury operations, cash management, or accounts payable/receivable functions.
Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies
Demonstrable experience in performing bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
