Key Responsibilities


Prepare and analyze financial statements, including the Profit & Loss account, Balance Sheet, and Cashflow statements.
Manage daily financial operations, including payments, receipts, and reconciliations.
Develop, implement, and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and promptly resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate record-keeping and proper documentation of all financial transactions.
Monitor cashflow and advise management on financial risks and opportunities.
Support internal and external audit activities and ensure full compliance with audit requirements.
Ensure adherence to financial policies, procedures, and statutory regulations (FIRS, PAYE, VAT, WHT).
Prepare management reports and provide financial insights to support decision-making.
Support procurement and expenditure control processes to ensure value for money.


Qualifications & Skills


HND / B.Sc. in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 3 years' proven experience in a finance officer or similar role.
Strong financial analysis capability.
Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting.
Excellent cashflow management skills.
Strong financial reporting and reconciliation abilities.
Good understanding of tax laws and statutory compliance requirements.
High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel is an added advantage.
